As Chief Legal Officer at Red Duke Strategies, Woody oversees the company’s legal operations and assists in the development and execution of strategies supporting business growth.

Woody has more than 35 years’ legal experience serving in the private sector and with the federal government. Prior to joining RDS, Woody served more than three decades in VA's Office of General Counsel, where he provided advice to senior agency executives and negotiated hundreds of research and innovation agreements, facilitating public-private collaborations, technology development, and health care advancements for veterans. He also compiled an impressive record in employment law and intellectual property rights litigation. In his spare time, Woody volunteers and advocates for vulnerable and underserved populations.

Woody served in the United States Marine Corps and U.S. Army JAG Corps reserve components. He has a B.A. in Sociology from Bates College and a J.D. from New England Law.
