Dylan Tete
Director, Growth and Strategic Partnerships
Dylan Tête is the Director of Growth and Strategic Partnerships at Red Duke Strategies, bringing over 15 years of experience in veteran advocacy, public health policy, and community development after his service in U.S. Army. With a focus on innovation and specializing in the recovery and reintegration of vulnerable populations, he is dedicated to helping organizations implement mission-driven strategies that address complex challenges and improve lives.
Throughout his career, Dylan has led multiple recovery efforts including those in Mosul during the Iraq War and New Orleans after Hurricane Katrina. As Planning Chief for New Orleans Homeland Security, he played a key role in various security initiatives and coordinating responses to crises like the BP Oil Spill. Dylan also founded Bastion Community of Resilience, America's first intentionally designed neighborhood for veterans and families with traumatic brain injuries, and he authored a groundbreaking five-year study on the impact of intentional neighboring on veteran reintegration. His accomplishments earned him the George W. Bush Military Service Citation for exemplary service after the uniform.
Dylan is a German Marshall Fellow, Scholar of the Veteran Leadership Program at the George W. Bush Institute, a member of the Delta Omega Honor Society, and holds a Master’s in Public Health from Louisiana State University. His advocacy extends globally, including his work with Heal Ukraine Trauma to support veteran reintegration efforts in Ukraine. Outside of work, Dylan enjoys yoga and facilitates mind-body skills groups for trauma survivors. He is passionate about empowering others through holistic healing and believes that a strong sense of community is foundational to overcoming adversity.
